Authenticity can be really difficult. Sometimes it is easier to hide behind a mask in order to please other people. But if you have committed to living a Christian life, you have also committed to living each day more and more like Christ, which means living authentically.

Commitment. We can have a hard time with that. But if we feel like we’re on fire in our faith, we can’t expect that flame to always be burning. It takes wholehearted commitment to keep going with Jesus so we don’t become indifferent.

Repentance is deeper than feeling bad about our choices, going to confession, wiping the slate clean, and then repeating the same sins. Repentance requires a change of heart. In my struggles with addiction, I found that when I made the decision to care about God more than I cared about myself, my life changed for the better. No sin is too great for His grace.

On this podcast, we’ll learn that repentance is a lifelong process. To achieve it you must:

 – Accept responsibility for your sins

 – Ask God for forgiveness

 – Commit yourself to God and resolve to avoid making the same mistakes.
