Through stories from the Bible like Isaiah 61, John shows us how Jesus assists the afflicted, binds up the brokenhearted, and frees captives. He urges us to embody the mission of Jesus in ministering to those in need and to embrace the call of bringing comfort to those who are hurting.

Judgment is not our job. It’s the job of the master.
